Legal Guide for Bloggers from the Electronic Frontier Foundation

While not many who read this blog are bloggers, many of the basic
legal issue for bloggers affect anyone who publishes online. Whether
it be a web site, video posting, or social media page, it is a good
idea to have at least a basic understanding of what legal issues you
may have to deal with.

One of my favorite sources for information about online legal issues
is the Electronic Frontier Foundation. For insights about defamation,
legal liability issues, intellectual property, and privacy, I
recommend checking out their legal guide for bloggers at
http://w2.eff.org/bloggers/lg/

If you want to have copies of the chapter of my book "Parenting and
the Internet" that dealt with legal issues relevant to online
children, feel free to contact me and I'll send it to you.
